Nature Responds to Thoughts

In Vignette 1 Bob relates the story of Cleve Backster, a scientist who suggested that plants reflect what is shown them in the environment.  Maybe talking to your plants is actually a good idea.

Backster's work has been highly controversial but I think Bob would have enjoyed reading about more recent studies conducted by Masaru Emoto in Japan who discovered the effect thoughts have on water crystals. I first learned of this while watching the movie, What the Bleep Do We Know. It is possible that the concept of entanglement is what is at work with the plants and the water.

Personally, I have had a number of experiences which have suggested to me the power of my thoughts over the world around me.  And, when you consider the fact that our bodies are 60-70% water, using positive thoughts on a daily basis could have a profound effect on our physical being. Certainly worth considering.
